which was nice
12:01 pm 08.04.03
Be looking for a new layout within the next couple of months. I've fiddled with it, but since I'm on Beej's computer and not mine, I can't upload it anywhere. This past weekend wasn't too horrifying. I went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean with Beej and Patty on Friday night, at last. And I really liked it, even though I thought the end was kind of cheesy. I eagerly anticipate the possibility of a sequel... it was a fun movie, which was nice after all of the angst of the past week. Saturday evening brought the Gallery Hop, as the first Saturday of the month always does, and a great number of Fusion volunteers, perhaps too many. We'd meant to sell freezer pops, but the freezer pops ended up thawing, and so we ended up mostly sitting around, goofing off, and slurping them down ourselves. We did, however, sell two of them, and came to the decision that next time we are selling cookies. That night, Beej, Patty, Zach and I went to Outland, a place that I am beginning to dearly love. However, after sitting out at the Gallery Hop for four hours, we ended up getting tired out right at last call, instead of staying till the place closed. Next time we go, Zach is going to get electrocuted... I told them I wanted to be flogged for my birthday. The people there seem really nice (We saw a first-timer go into the shackles and she couldn't have been lightly whipped for more than fifteen minutes) and the guy who usually tops is always talking to the bottoms, keeping communication open and all that. We saw Ann there, and she said she's been flogged more than once before. I also saw the girl who looks like Cyndi for the second time. I don't think it is her, but I'm leery, because I really would rather not meet her again. She was a two-faced bitch in high school, possibly racist as well, and I don't anticipate much of a change in her. Patty spent the night (no, dears, nothing happened, possibly due to Beej and Zach cock-blocking any attempt by me to flirt with her at Outland) and ended up having to wait around for Beej's lazy ass to get up and quit screwing around so he could take her home. (Can you tell I got a bit irritated with him this weekend?) Afterward I napped for a while, and then we went to a Fusion planning meeting at Coffee Table, which turned out to be quite good despite the fact that only two other people showed up. I had considered skipping just so I could be alone for a while. I can't wait until we move into this new apartment so I don't have to be around Beej all the time. I like being by myself on occasion and the only time I get anything remotely close to that here is when he's doing some Faery stuff or sleeping. Time to get my crap together and go to work. It's thundering and raining outside... quite beautiful and exciting. There's some really spectacular lightning... I remember that I used to be afraid of storms. I don't think I am anymore.
